The contrast between
rapid and slow change is very subjective and
interesting. Where is our mind living?
Atmospherical affection around me becomes more and more important. Midsummer
Night or a gold moment before
sunrise make me homesick.
When the veins
and
leaves appear from under the melted snow, when the
birch, linden and aspen each
reveal their own identity, it is that
moment that
I want you to see, constructed in air, born by the air. Then you will
understand that at which unknown point there is a strong, invisible
structure. Leena Nylander
"Leena
Nylander's engravings
contain powerful symbolism. The cloud's golden edge, the beauty of an
old tree
trunk, a child walking to the beach with her dog. All these themes take
us back
to positive memories. Details remind us that striving for overwhelming
joy
hinders us from experiencing the small joys of the moment."
